Commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States Postal Service®, this collection by Polo Ralph Lauren honors the institution’s legacy and its storied history in helping to shape and define the United States of America. Inspired by the agency’s authentic outerwear silhouettes dating back to the 1870s, this wool twill coat is crafted in America in close collaboration with USPS historians. It is designed with reinforced shoulder padding to support a carrier bag and a diamond-quilted interior lining for warmth. Its brass buttons are a faithful reproduction of the original, using the same USA-based manufacturer, design, and mold. Each cuff features star patches, which represent employees’ tenures—the two used here are a special subset—as well as “1775” and “2025” embroidery.

    • Size medium has a 32.5" front body length, a 31" back body length, a 19" shoulder, and a 36.25" sleeve length. Sleeve length is taken from the center back of the neck.
    • Notch lapels. Buttonhole at each lapel. Double-breasted silhouette. Brass buttons recreated with the original post officer and “POD” design.
    • Long sleeves with two-button cuffs. Star patches at each cuff. “1775” embroidered at the right cuff. “2025” embroidered at the left cuff. Patch with the original “Post Office Dept. USA” emblem at the left sleeve. Reinforced shoulder padding.
    • Left chest flapped pocket. Ticket pocket. Two front waist flapped pockets. Two interior chest pockets. Interior left right pocket.
    • Burgundy cording trim throughout. Fully lined. Quilted body.
